Do you know that God wants abundance for you?  What are your expectations? Every good and perfect gift comes from God.  Do you remember the queen of Sheba?  She was the queen who visited King Solomon.  When she came before him she brought gifts of spices.  There were one hundred and twenty varieties. Never again would anyone ever bring such an array of wealth to the feet of a king.  To his day people will say, “Who do you think you are, the queen of Sheba?”

It is in this same lavish way that God blesses us.  He writes his word on the tablets of our hearts.  By the power of His Holy Spirit we may ever draw from the well of living water.

Remember, Psalm 72:7 says; “In his days the righteous will flourish; prosperity will abound until the moon is no more.”  That is a lot of time for the righteous to flourish.  Flourishing is steady continuous growth not just a one-time burst of luck.  And remember Eccl. 5:10 which says, “Whoever loves money never has enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with his income.”

Our attitude about money is more important than the amount we have.  God’s economy is not like the world’s economy.  With the world’s economy you have to do something to get paid but God loves you unconditionally.  You don’t have to do anything.

I remember what amazement I had the first time I pulled apart one dried blossom from a marigold flower and found hundreds of seeds.  The first year I had a few marigolds out front and the second year I had marigolds all the way around my garden.  And the added bonus was that marigolds; are a natural bug repellant so, I didn’t have to buy expensive chemicals.  So how do we prepare ourselves to receive the abundance God has prepared for those that love Him?
