Once you know that you know that you know that God is real then your whole paradigm changes. Understanding the God of love is akin to knowing physics and mathematics. It is not a subject for the faint of heart but takes a heart of diligence. You must pursue your knowledge of God and his character with veracity. The study of God is not a wimpy man’s sport. You see, God has the power to change your life; how you think, how you pray, how you interact with others. He changes you from the inside out. He remakes, remolds, and reforms your inner being. He takes your heart of stone and transforms it to a heart of flesh that pumps life into your world, your community, your church, and your home.

The process may take you places that you never thought you would go. It may bring you trials and tribulations you never thought you could endure. You may suffer persecution. If persecution comes, bear it with heroic endurance. You may be shunned by the world. You may suffer the loss of family and friends. You may give all to gain Christ.

But you can count it all but loss for Christ’s sake. Because He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him. That means He shows up. He comes. He introduces himself. He shows you his plans. He lays out the map.

Psalm 25:

Good and upright is the Lord: therefore will he teach sinners in the way.

The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.

The really amazing part is He lets us participate in what He is doing. He shows us how to lay hands on the sick so they recover. God is so good.
